Bhakte on Trekking

About a poem Bhakte in trekking Around Dhaulagiri that is difficult place to make camping trekking in Nepal.

The poem written by Mr. Prem Prasad Paudel

An actually I Composed a poem relating to the situation of Nepalese mountain porter around Dhaulagiri. It was in Nepali language and Nepali version was based on prosody form. I tried it to translate in English but the translated form is not poetry .It is in simplified form to interpret my original poem………….While I presented it among the mass of hard mountain porter their eyes were full of tear and they took a long breath. At last I knew that I honestly pictured their real life. Indeed the main character ' Bhakte ' is imaginary but he represents the whole porters who are in the same condition as of a Bhakte still now. The porters have not interest to face deadly circumstances but they are compelled to do so because their aim is to fulfill their basic needs and have not other alternatives.[In the poem Namlo means a material made up of nylon or woven by nylon, It specially use for carrying load.]………….The poem start………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Carrying a load across the mountain, in the stormy forestShaking his body due to the cold and putting a namlo on a head. One day will may come sunshine of bless like a moon in the nightBhakte is creeping like a mule with full of hope.…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Carrying a load of 60 kegs, making a pain on the waist andHeating the head by the presser of namlo.Despite the pain bearing it to get happinessHe was going to the destination with the expectation at that day to be happyThe path was sloppy and he fell down rolling on with the carrying load.Friends were no where, there and Bhakte was still rolling on to the downward.Knowing none, who were where? He was crying to be helped.Friends ran away with their Dhaker none was there.the cold winds made the environment was freezing.………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….His body was like the like the ice, right at that time began to snowfallIt made him afraid, neither he had good shoes nor other wearingWithout food for hole day .he was not hungry due to the frustration. He threw out his unfitted shoes thinking that the cause of accident is that shoes, but he was unknown of the necessity of that shoes laterAfter crossing the hill, friends talk about him and thinking that, he was coming on and they went on because they had to be at destination on time.…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………He got pain on the frozen land, covering by the snow and shaking his body. The friends were far and he missed them.He got there [at destination] very hardly ,how much he had afraid of?Being sick, he slept down on the open air without having food.He knew that, his happiness no more and the dreams of his and his familyWas away causing to cry for all the lifeHe had no desire to sleep any more due to the pain andHis feet and fingers and the wound has been serous sickness for himWith his this miserable conditionHis ambition to teach his children to read,His family and so many his dreams were no moreHe becomes an alive corpse.………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
